Blueair AB of Stockholm, Sweden and Blueair Inc. of Chicago, Illinois, USA, are official sponsors of the Swedish Pavilion of World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, Peoples Republic of China, May 1 to October 31, 2010.

According to Bengt Rittri, Blueair president and founder, Blueair will place over 25 of its Blueair series of HEPASilent™ premium air purifiers throughout the three floor structure rangning from its smaller capacity model, Blueair 203, to larger capacity model, Blueair 650E.
The Blueair air purifiers will be providing clean, healthy air to the expected 70 million visitors from around the world, many of whom will be visiting the Swedish Pavilion.

Rittri added that Blueair would also be greeting visitors coming through the Shanghai Pudong International Airport at the special Eco building where Blueair will be having a stand showing various models of air purifiers. "This Expo will expose our air purifiers to worldwide consumers who can see demonstrations throughout the Pavilion on how these units efficiently clean and purify the air to provide a safe and healthy envoiroment", Rittri said. "The air purifiers will also help reduce the affects of allergies, asthma and many other common respiratory conditions for attendees visiting our Pavilion."

The Swedish Pavilion at the World Expo 2010 consists of 3,000 m²(910 ft²), half of which is exhibit area. The Pavilion is in the shape of a large square divided into four sections by a cross reflecting the Swedish flag.

Beside the exhibit area, the attendees can visit cafes boutiques and restaurants and an area to also watch Swedish movies, all while enjoying a nice cup of Swedish coffee.
