Whisper Quiet!
We replaced an older air purifier of a different brand with the Blue Pure 311+ Max based on research and the Consumer Report ratings. Thus far, we've been very pleased with it. Very easy to set up, and it is very quiet on the low-mid settings . We've not had to use the highest setting but did check it and even that, while audible, would not be too loud if we had a group over. I like the accessibility of the controls on top, and being able having one for night time which eliminates the lights. Also like having a choice of replacement filters and will try the allergen one next time.

We are enjoying the 311+ air purifier and its many features.
The app helps to understand when and what may cause the indoor air to require more air purifying. This was proven when doing some major cooking and the stats on the app showed the operation of the purifier increase then and how quickly clean air was restored.

I cook and it tracks my burning pans. I am having work done in my apartment. Removing paint and plaster. Every time they open the door the red light comes on the fan speeds up. Great purchase.

DreamWell Mini Cleaning Guide + -

Water Tank
The water tank is dishwasher-safe. You can also hand-wash it using mild detergent and warm water. Never use bleach, harsh chemicals, or chemical solvents.

Wick Filter
Clean the wick filter every 2–4 weeks. Soak the wick in a descaling solution using 1 descaling packet per tank of water for 2 hours, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Be sure to replace the wick filter every 6 months for optimal performance.

Bi-Weekly Cleaning Guide + -

To keep your DreamWell Humidifier performing at its best, Blueair recommends cleaning it at least once a week, or twice a week with regular use. Always disconnect the device from power before cleaning.

Water Tank

Clean the water tank with a mild detergent, or place it in the dishwasher.
Dry the water tank thoroughly before reassembling the humidifier.

Wick Filter

Soak the wick filter in a citric acid solution (20 g of citric acid per 1 L of water) for 1 hour. If needed, you can soak it for up to 2 hours.
Rinse the wick thoroughly under running tap water before reinstalling it.
If you have the DreamWell mesh fabric replacement wick, it can be machine washed on a gentle cycle.

Upper Body

Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to remove dust.
Do not submerge the upper body in water.

Invisible Mist Monthly Descaling Guide + -

Follow the steps below to safely and effectively descale your humidifier using citric acid descaling powder. Before you start be sure to unplug the device, remove the visible scale from the inner tank surfaces by rinsing with fresh water and wiping with a clean towel.

Step 1: Prepare the Descaling Solution

For regular maintenance (2% solution – recommended monthly):

Mix 1 pouch (1 oz) of descaling powder with 2 L (0.5 gallons) of water

For heavy scale or pump issues (4% solution):

Mix 2 pouches (2 oz) of descaling powder with 2 L (0.5 gallons) of water

Fill the tank with water first, then add the descaling powder and mix well.

Step 2: Soak the Pump and Tank

Remove the sponge pre-filter from the pump.
Place the sponge pre-filter into the tank.
Submerge the pump into the tank according to normal assembly instructions.
Ensure the bottom half of the pump is fully submerged in the descaling solution.
Allow the pump and tank to soak for 2 hours.

Step 3: Rinse and Reassemble

After 2 hours, remove the pump from the tank.
Rinse the pump and tank separately under fresh water.
Reassemble the device.
Fill the tank with fresh water before the next use.
