Blueair Commitments

At Blueair, we're on a mission to make everyday health effortless. Rooted in Swedish design and built on decades of engineering expertise, we create air wellness solutions that help turn the spaces where people live, sleep and breathe into foundations for a healthier life. How we work matters too. We aim to act responsibly, treat people with respect, reduce our environmental impact and communicate openly.

1. Our Purpose

We believe better air is not a luxury - it is a foundation for wellbeing. Our purpose guides how we innovate, make decisions and conduct business. We aim to create lasting value for our customers, employees, business partners, communities and the environment.

2. Climate Action

Healthier indoor environments should also contribute to a healthier planet. Blueair supports the global ambition to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our climate work focuses on the areas where we can have the greatest influence:

  • Improving product energy efficiency and maintaining relevant third-party certifications, including ENERGY STAR, where applicable.

  • Considering lower-impact materials, packaging and circular design in relevant product development.

  • Working with suppliers and manufacturing partners to improve environmental performance.

  • Monitoring operational energy use, greenhouse-gas emissions and resource use, and identifying opportunities to improve.

  • Reviewing climate progress regularly and updating our Climate Action Plan at least every three years.

Implementation is shared across Product Development, Sustainability, Procurement, Operations and Supply Chain, with oversight from Blueair's Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors. We also draw on feedback and knowledge from employees, customers, suppliers, business partners and relevant industry organisations.

3. Human Rights

Respect for people is fundamental to how we do business. Blueair is committed to respecting internationally recognised human rights in our own operations and in the business relationships where we have influence.

Our approach is informed by the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the International Labour Organization Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.

We work to treat people with dignity and respect, support safe and healthy working conditions, and prevent discrimination, harassment, forced labour and child labour. These expectations also guide how we work with suppliers and manufacturing partners.

4. Speak Up

Something doesn't feel right? We want to hear from you. Employees, customers, suppliers, business partners and other stakeholders can raise concerns about business conduct, human rights, working conditions, environmental practices, product safety, marketing claims or the conduct of a business partner.

Call Blueair Customer Service: 1-888-258-3247

Please say that you would like to raise a 'Speak Up' or stakeholder concern so the matter can be directed to the right person.

We aim to acknowledge concerns within five business days, complete an initial assessment within ten business days and normally communicate an outcome within 30 business days, or provide an update if more time is needed. Concerns are handled as confidentially as possible, and Blueair does not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern honestly and in good faith. If a matter is not accepted under this process, we will explain why where contact details are available.

5. Lobbying and Public Policy

Blueair does not engage in lobbying, employ external lobbyists or authorise third parties to lobby on our behalf. We do not make corporate political contributions.

We may participate in transparent, evidence-based industry discussions, certification activities and collaborative initiatives related to air wellness, product safety, energy efficiency, sustainability and responsible business. Any future activity that could reasonably be viewed as lobbying or political engagement would require prior review and approval through Blueair's governance process.

6. Responsible Business Partners

Blueair works with external manufacturing partners, suppliers, logistics providers and other business partners to bring our products to customers. We seek to work with partners who share our commitment to integrity, respect for human rights, safe working conditions, environmental responsibility, product quality and legal compliance. We believe long-term improvement is built through clear expectations, open dialogue and responsible follow-up.

7. Responsible Marketing and Communication

Trust starts with clear, honest communication. Blueair aims to ensure that product, health, performance, climate and sustainability claims are accurate, relevant, proportionate and supported by credible evidence. This expectation applies to Blueair and to agencies, influencers and partners communicating on our behalf. Higher-risk claims are reviewed by the relevant internal experts before publication.

8. Governance and review

These commitments form part of Blueair's governance framework and are overseen by Blueair AB's Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors. We review and update them as our business, stakeholder expectations and responsible-business practices evolve.
