First the Good:
On day one, within a few hours, the air was incredibly better. I purchased this to be in our main living area which is connected with the kitchen. I am hopeful that it will greatly reduce the cooking odors quickly. For a quick test, I made some popcorn and periodically watched the air quality on the app. I was impressed how it picked up the popcorn odors and cleared them out quickly. (It was a minor blip on the monitor, but it was there!)
I like the design, but I do wish it came with legs. $79 for a cheap plastic ring with four wooden dowels as legs is ridiculous. That power supply should be inside this device, and there should be a detachable power cord. For a multi-million dollar company, (BlueAir-Unilever), and for a $400+ device, this minor design change should be included.
The second issue I have is the fact that this device cannot be registered for a warranty through the app. I went to register for the warranty, and the first thing it wants is the serial number. So, I went to the app to get the serial number from the device settings. Do you think it was there? No,…
