We had a serious dust problem, the kind where you wipe a surface down and it's back within a day. We'd tried everything short of living in a cleanroom. Then we brought home the Blueair DustMagnet 5440i, and honestly, it felt a little like cheating.
Within the first week, the difference was striking. Surfaces that used to collect a visible film of dust stayed clean noticeably longer. The unit just quietly does its thing, the auto mode picks up on air quality and adjusts the fan speed on its own, so most of the time we barely notice it's running. And when it is running on higher speeds, it's surprisingly unobtrusive given how hard it's working.
My wife was skeptical at first - understandably so, because we'd spent money on "solutions" before that didn't deliver. She's now a full convert. In fact, she's the one who checks the app more than I do.
Speaking of the app, it's a nice bonus. Scheduling, air quality monitoring, filter life tracking, it all works without fuss, and the Alexa integration means we can adjust it without even picking up a phone.
Does it look good too? Yes, it’s the rare appliance that actually improves the look of a room rather than cluttering it.
If you're on the fence, the DustMagnet 5440i does exactly what it promises, and our home is genuinely cleaner because of it.

Lower speeds are extremely quiet but still powerful enough to provide a decent airflow. Exhausts out from each side in center of unit & pulls air in from below & near top — creates a circular air flow in the room.

I have four Dust Magnet Air Purifiers for several years now and they all work perfectly, I would definitely recommend BlueAir
