How long does the filter last?

The purifier uses Blueair’s proprietary RealTrack™ algorithm to calculate the actual remaining filter life based on:

  • Indoor air pollution levels (e.g., PM2.5)
  • Hours of operation
  • Fan speed settings

In a typical application the filter replacement time is between 9-12 months under normal indoor air conditions. However, the filter may need to be replaced sooner depending on usage and indoor pollution levels.

When to Replace the Filter

You’ll know it’s time to change the filter when the filter replacement indicator on the control panel turns red. At that point:

  • Turn off and unplug the device.
  • Replace the filter following the steps outlined in the manual.
  • Reset the Filter Indicator by:
  • Holding the Fan Speed button for 15 seconds, or
  • Resetting via the Blueair App.
