I grow indoors and this cleans up the air great! I ordered a smaller one for my room and am going to move the big one(this one)out in the house. Did I mention we have cats?? Now we’ll see how well it works!!🤣
This is our second Blueair. We use it in our bedroom. It is almost silent at low speed and very acceptable at medium speed when we are sleeping. It is very effective at filtering the air in our room. We clean the outer cloth filter every 3 months or so and the inner filter annually. We are very pleased this 511i.
This machine has truly made all the difference. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs, and the dogs sleep with me in my room. My room no longer smells like dog. It’s genuinely a miracle. My room is small and I did end up getting the medium-sized purifier, but I’ve been amazed at the quality of this product. I no longer wake up with a horribly stuffy nose. Even my plants in my house look better. I can’t sing enough praises about these air purifiers. They’re truly worth it. And the ease of the app and being able to turn all the lights off on it are wonderful!!! I love sleeping with it on full blast and no lights.
Efficient with a small footprint.
Our garage was once dusty and felt thick - best way I can describe the air quality. It has always served as the laundry area and storage for gardening supplies and recycling and many other things. It also houses the water heater and attic entrance. When we rescued 2 kittens a couple of years ago, we decided to have a pet door installed in the door that leads from the kitchen to the garage and to put the litter box in the garage. Even though I knew I would clean the box nightly, I was worried about odors permeating the already-yucky feel of the air quality in that space. I would never expect the cats to hang out in there and only needed them to visit that area when they had to, but because I didn't want to expose them to an even worse air quality situation being that a litter box was going to be added and because we didn't want to have to do laundry in there with worsening air quality due to the litter boxes being added, I decided to research air purifiers. I was happy with what I read about BlueAir and decided to get this model. I honestly didn't expect much, but I thought it was worth a try, and wow, it put all of my doubts to rest. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that it literally transformed the feeling and the quality of the air in the garage. Within a couple of hours, it felt light and fresh and no longer stale and heavy. AND... we could not smell the litter box! We have a good system for when it's time to change the filter, and that is when we CAN smell the litter…
