After 6 months this filter was mildly discoloured. Compared to previous years, with wild fire smoke then bathroom renovations, this is more a 'steady state' year. It is positioned near the kitchen and far from the bathroom, yet the machine picked up gases from bathroom renovations last year and the filter was considerably darker. I'm so glad we found Blue Max and several relatives also bought on my recommendation.

Took care of musty smell in basement level of home. We have a second unit equipped similarly in the master bedroom that makes sleeping dreamful. Terrific filter and terrific machine.

This replacement filter fit perfectly. App instructions for removal of old and replacement of new were clear. Purifier reset at 0% used upon restart.

I’ve been using my Blue Air filter for 4 months. It works great and the app easily shows what a great job it does removing pollutants from the air. For my condo, it appears the filter will last about one year - but I live in a relatively pollutant free area. The only time it started/s to run a lot is/was from wildfire smoke (I live in Michigan’s UP) or when from cooking (say, a burger) - the filter sounds like a fan - not at all annoying. It does a super job of getting out the pollutants and looks pretty nice while doing it.
