The water in my 2-in-1 is discolored.

Changes in the color of water are influenced by both environmental factors and water quality. There’s no need to worry! The yellow water in your humidifier does not cause any harm and is a natural effect of leaving water out in the air for an extended period.

While there aren’t any immediate health concerns, it can be unsightly. If you notice that the water in your humidifier has turned yellow, follow these steps:

1. Empty the humidifier and clean it thoroughly with a mild detergent.
2. Rinse the humidifier with clean water to remove any detergent residue.
3. Refill the humidifier with fresh, clean water.
4. Consider using distilled or filtered water to reduce the likelihood of impurities causing discoloration.
5. Make it a habit to change the water in your humidifier regularly, to prevent the buildup of impurities.
