Regular cleaning is essential to maintain your air purifier's performance.
Follow these recommendations for cleaning your Classic Pro air purifier.
General Cleaning Guidelines:
- Disconnect the air purifier from the power supply before cleaning.
- Avoid allowing foreign objects to enter the air inlets or outlets to prevent damage.
- Never use gasoline, chemical solvents, or corrosive materials for cleaning as they can harm the air purifier.
- Ensure the air purifier is completely dry before reconnecting it to power.
- Do not wash the main filter as it is not washable or reusable.
Cleaning Steps:
- Use a soft, clean, damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the air purifier.
- Clean the inside of the door with a soft, clean, damp cloth after opening it.
- Remove the prefilter from the door by lowering the tabs on the door holding the prefilter in place.
- Wipe both sides of the pre-filter with a dust cloth or vacuum using a soft brush attachment (not included).
- Vacuum the small air inlets and inside the air purifier with a soft brush attachment (not included).
- Inspect and clean the power cable and plug for wear or damage.
- Clean the sensor when changing the main filter.
Cleaning the Air Quality Sensor:
- Locate the inlet for the air quality sensor at the front of the air purifier (left from the display).
- Vacuum the area around the inlet to clean it effectively.
