The Child lock might be on! See below instructions and videos on how to activate and deactivate the Child lock.

To deactivate Child lock: Repeat same action.

If the Fan button still does not respond, you can try to do a factory reset.
A factory reset may be used to fix an issue with the air purifier, or to restore the device to its original state.
Note that when doing a factory reset, the filter timer will be reset and the air purifier will be disconnected from the Blueair app.

How to perform the factory reset

  • Press and hold the power button until all LEDs blink 4 times, then release. This can take from 15 to 30 seconds depending on the model.
  • The factory reset will initiate after about 5 seconds when all LEDs will blink twice again, including the red filter light indicator (don't press any buttons in the before the blinking twice happens).
  • The air purifier will go to Standby mode after the factory reset is completed.

Important! Your air purifier will show offline after a factory reset. That is normal. Please open the Blueair app, select "Connect" and follow the instructions to connect your air purifier again.
