What pollutants does the Classic Pro CP7i filter out?

Our HEPASilent™ dual filtration technology removes 99.97%¹ of airborne particles down to 0.1 microns, ensuring pollen, cooking odors, smoke, dust, pet dander, mold, chemicals, allergen matter and even tiny particles such as viruses and bacteria², are captured with minimal noise and energy consumption.

How does HINS technology work?

Our patent-pending HINS technology works throughout the day activating every 10 minutes by shining a visible blue light on the filter for 10 second and then turning off to conserve its lifetime.
This visible protection is uniquely different from other lighting technology in air purifier and is achieved because Photon Pure operates in safer wavelength of 405nm.

How often do I need to change the filters?

Your filter will last up to 1 year thanks to our proprietary RealTrack algorithm that accurately calculates the remaining filter lifetime based on fan speed, usage time and pollution levels.

When it's time to replace the filter, the filter replacement LED on the interface will turn red to remind you. Alternatively, connect to the Blueair app to receive an alert and easily re-order at the touch of a button.

Does toggling between the different PM levels (PM1, PM2.5, PM10) on the display change the specific types of pollutants that are filtered out of the air?

While many Blueair units come equipped with a PM2.5 sensor, some models, including Blue Pure 211i Max, Protect 70i, or Classic Pro CP7i, have advanced sensors that measure PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 levels for more precise air quality monitoring. However, the display on these models can only show one of these three particulate matter (PM) values at a time due to the size of the screen. The display can toggle between PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 readings to track the levels of different pollutants in their environment. Switching between these indicators does not affect the air purifier's performance or target a specific pollutant size to remove from the air. The air purifier continuously works to remove particles down to 0.1 micron from the air regardless of which PM indicator is displayed.

Poor Quality Control
Was very excited to start using this product but upon removing the unit from its packaging I immediately noticed scratches and dents all over. Called customer support to exchange this unit, which they were very helpful and got a new one sent out right away. Unfortunately the new one arrived today, in even worse condition than the last one. Very disappointed as the quality of the product does not match the price point.

1000% worth it
I originally set up the Blueair Classic Pro CP7i in my daughter’s room, and it immediately impressed me. With coverage up to 2,800 sq ft, it’s more than capable of purifying multiple rooms at once.
Within just a few days, the air felt noticeably fresher, my daughter started sleeping better, and even everyday dust and allergy symptoms began to ease up.
It made such a noticeable difference that I ended up moving it to a neutral space so the entire house could reap the benefits.
It’s also quiet enough to run all day without being disruptive. Even on higher settings, it didn’t interfere with our sleep at all.
And the app? Incredibly user-friendly. I can turn it on or off from anywhere, adjust settings, and even monitor the air quality in real time. It gives me peace of mind — especially on high pollen or poor air quality days.

It’s quiet and removes particles immediately.
My son recommended this air purifier due to the air quality in my area. I was having problems with my sinuses and breathing because of the resent fires in California. Even with my doors and windows closed it was a problem. I’ve had my system for a month and it has mad a tremendous difference in air quality in my home. I’m interested in looking at the air and humidifier combination system for my bedroom now.
