Patent pending DustMagnet™ technology captures 99%¹ of dust before it settles. A dual air intake and vortex airflow pattern keeps airborne dust particles moving, and an electrostatic charge cluster them together. Once inside, dust particles stick to the charged stainless steel pre-filters, just like a magnet.

Feature helps to eliminate unnecessary filter replacement with accurate and custom lifetime tracking via an algorithm. Remaining filter life is estimated based on air quality conditions. Generally, recommended filter replacement is between 6-12 months with genuine Blueair filter.
'Welcome Home’ feature saves you time and conserves energy by automatically turning the unit on and off as you come and go to ensure clean air when entering your home. In-app 'Clean Air ETA' feature counts down time to clean air.

Always know the room's air quality with just a glance. An air quality indicator (AQI), located on the front of the air purifier uses a five-color LED to indicate conditions measured by its particle sensor.
This certified air purifier uses less energy than an average LED lightbulb (about 10 W) at 4W on lowest setting and up to 22W on high. Confidently run it for quality air 24/7.
In Auto mode, the Protect air purifier automatically increases fan speed when pollution levels rise and slows it down when the air is clean again.
When in night mode, your DustMagnet air purifier disables features you don't need while sleeping. This includes the Air Quality Indicator LED light and adjusting to a whisper-quiet low speed of 23dB.

The DustMagnet 5210i has a standard white finish, while the upgraded 5240i model features a premium, light grey textile front, matching grey legs, back panel, and a vegan leather tag.
Our DustMagnet air purifiers with ComboFilters feature integrated activated carbon throughout the particle filter media to remove both fine particles and odors and gases. While DustMagnet models absorb light household gases and odors, they are not designed to accommodate high levels of gases, chemicals and odors that can be present in wildfire smoke.
The integrated particle sensor measures fine particle (PM2.5) levels in your room and updates the color of the air quality indicator (AQI) light on the front of the air purifier based on current conditions. The light will show one of five colors; red (very polluted), orange (slightly polluted), yellow (moderate), green (good), and blue (excellent) to indicate air quality.
