During colder winter months, the unit may use more water as dry heated air requires constant moisture replacement to maintain your set humidity. Love it. No white dust. Humidifier works great. No issues with static electricity and being shocked when I touch fridge handles. Alerts me when my air is bad from frying food on automatic mode. Clears it up in a timely manner. Could not be happier.

We live in Chicago where it can get quite cold & we struggled to keep our house humidified . Having used ultrasonic humidifiers in the past, not only did they leave a gross dust covered house behind, there was something fundamentally unclean and invasive about them. This humidifier is so fresh feeling and the humidity is great. No dust left behind & the convenience of the top fill is a big plus. We could not be happier with this upgrade to our life. Also, we had our grandson visiting and he’s allergic to our cat and usually after about a half hour he’s coughing. This last visit, no cough thanks to the air cleaner that is a huge plus with this sophisticated state of the art device. Regarding the sound level, very easy to live with, and you can always turn it down if you find it too loud, which it never is. Worth every penny! We also love the app.

This is my 3rd Blueair device and a last minute gift to myself. I got it the busy week leading up to Christmas and was worried it might be delayed or worst during shipment, but to my pleasant surprise it was shipped out and delivered very quickly.
So far I've been very pleased, this one is by far my favorite. I live in an area with cold dry winters and have been getting by occasionally bringing out a big humidifier when it gets really bad. It's awesome having the humidification built in like this just walking over to pour additional water in from the top is so easy. I've been using the skin mode and notice I don't need to use extra skin moisturizer and my nasal passages are not getting irritated like they normally do. So I plan on using this year-round to make sure my air moisture levels are always optimized.
The coldest months of the year in my area are starting now and its great knowing I've got this locked and loaded. lol To anyone on the fence, especially if you live in an area like me with colder winters, I can't recommend this enough. And remember one of the main reasons the cold/flu seasons happen every year, spreading more infections during the colder months, is the lower levels of moisture in the air that allow those critters to stay alive and float around for longer. Do some googling if you don't already know or need convincing.
Wrapping up, it was hard for me to come to a conclusion on what the specific coloring for this unit is based on standalone pics.…
