Our garage was once dusty and felt thick - best way I can describe the air quality. It has always served as the laundry area and storage for gardening supplies and recycling and many other things. It also houses the water heater and attic entrance. When we rescued 2 kittens a couple of years ago, we decided to have a pet door installed in the door that leads from the kitchen to the garage and to put the litter box in the garage. Even though I knew I would clean the box nightly, I was worried about odors permeating the already-yucky feel of the air quality in that space. I would never expect the cats to hang out in there and only needed them to visit that area when they had to, but because I didn't want to expose them to an even worse air quality situation being that a litter box was going to be added and because we didn't want to have to do laundry in there with worsening air quality due to the litter boxes being added, I decided to research air purifiers. I was happy with what I read about BlueAir and decided to get this model. I honestly didn't expect much, but I thought it was worth a try, and wow, it put all of my doubts to rest. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that it literally transformed the feeling and the quality of the air in the garage. Within a couple of hours, it felt light and fresh and no longer stale and heavy. AND... we could not smell the litter box! We have a good system for when it's time to change the filter, and that is when we CAN smell the litter…

We recently purchased the Blue Pure 311i+ Max for our office, and we've been extremely pleased with it. The unit was very easy to set up, and we've simply left it in Auto Mode since day one.

It's quiet, effective, and has been a great addition to our workspace. Everyone in the office seems to be enjoying it, and we've noticed the air feels fresher throughout the day. The overall user experience has been excellent.

We're so happy with the performance that I plan to purchase another Blueair unit for our home. Great product, and one I would certainly recommend to others.

Bought a Blue Pure 311+ Max in July 2025. After working with no issues for 10 months, the fan would not run at full speed. Contacted Blueair explained the issue and they shipped out a new unit as well as providing me with a prepaid shipping label to return the old unit.

Love our purifier. Works very well and for how long the filter lasts, is less expensive to operate when considering filter costs than the Levoit and Hathaspace units we have.
