Replacing the particle filter in your Pure Fan Auto ensures it can clean the air as it cools. Unlike standard fans that distribute dirty air throughout the room, this fan + particle filter combo captures large particles like pollen and dust from your indoor air - circulating clean, cooling air back into your room.
When it's time to replace your filter (about every six months), start by unplugging your fan. Gently press the release buttons on either side until you hear a click, and lift off the back frame. Remove the old filter and replace it with a new one. Click the frame back in to place and plug back in. Easy.

The Pure Fan Auto filter and pre-filter are specifically designed for that model and cannot be used for the Blue Pure Fan (and vice-versa).
Replace the main filter when the indicator light on the device turns red (after 6 months of operation).

It is not recommended to clean the filters in any way. Vacuuming or washing filters with water could damage the filter media and decrease the performance.
