Filters the air at a rate of about 5x an hour (or about every 12 minutes) in a 388 ft² room to effectively lower particle levels and help maintain a comfortable environment in your master bedroom, living room, or playroom.
The one-touch enabled Auto mode is designed to help you maintain a comfortable and safe home environment. When enabled, the setting automatically adjusts fan speed based on real-time conditions reported by the integrated particle sensor. Stay up to date on your air quality with the LED display; it changes color to indicate good, moderate, or poor.
A fabric pre-filter offers the first layer of protection, catching large particles and extending the life of the primary filter. The combination Particle + Carbon Filter uses a layer of activated carbon to filter light household odors from pets, cooking, and smoking, while the main particle filter removes airborne particles, like pollen, dust, pet dander, and more.
] Independently reviewed by the experts at Wirecutter, the Blue Pure 311 Auto ranks as one of Wirecutter's top air purifier picks for 2020. Featured in Wirecutter's "The Best Air Purifier" article for "Delivering exceptional performance in an attractive form".
Verifide by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) for performance and Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR).
Rated as an energy-efficient air purifier by the EPA's ENERGY STAR rating program.
Certified for ozone emissions and electrical safety by the California EPA's Air Resources Board (CARB).
Our unique combination of electrostatic and mechanical filtration that we call HEPASilent™ filtration technology sets us apart. The combination allows us to use filters that are less dense than traditional True HEPA filters without a loss in performance— resulting in quiet and energy-efficient air purifiers.
Change color in seconds
Match to your space with five new premium fabric pre-filter colors (Arctic Trail included) inspired by the natural landscapes of Scandinavia. A hidden compartment in the fabric keeps the power cord hidden out of sight.
One-touch Auto mode
The one-touch enabled Auto mode is designed to help you maintain a comfortable and safe environment. When enabled, the air purifier auto-adjusts fan speed based on real-time conditions reported by the integrated particle sensor.
Simple to place
Unlike some air purifiers with strict rules for placement, the Blue Pure 411 Auto uses a 360-degree air intake, meaning you can place it almost anywhere in the room without compromising performance.
Low energy consumption
ENERGY STAR rated to use less energy than the average LED lightbulb (2-10 W) - so you can keep it running all day without a second thought.
Extend filter life
The colorful fabric doubles as a pre-filter, catching large particles and extending the life of the primary filter - vacuum the fabric or toss it in the washing machine whenever it needs cleaning.
Stay up to date on the status of your indoor air with the LED air quality indicator (AQI). The display changes color to indicate good, moderate, or poor based on the current concentration of fine particles (PM2.5) measured by the integrated particle sensor.
Forget about adjusting settings and knobs - a single button controls it all and lets you know when it's time to replace the filter. After about 7 seconds, the button's LED light automatically dims to 0% brightness.
The built-in LED warning system glows red when it's time for a change. For optimal performance, we recommend replacing the filter about every 6 months when used 24 hours a day.

Guarantee clean air for years to come with up to 2-years of warranty coverage when you register your air purifier.
With many of the same features of the 411 Auto model (Auto mode, integrated particle sensor, LED air quality indicator),the 311 Auto differs in its slightly larger size, larger recommended room size (up to 388 ft²), and higher Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR).
Press and hold down the LED button for 10 seconds to reset the replacement filter indicator.
To extend the Limited Warranty from one year to two (2) years, simply complete the product registration form in the 'Warranty' section of your customer account, within (60) days of purchase or register through the Blueair mobile app.
Vacuum the exterior of the fabric pre-filter to remove dust as often as you'd like. When the pre-filter requires a deeper clean, it can be washed on a gentle, low-temperature cycle in the washing machine. Hang to dry.
The LED indicator will turn yellow after 5 months of operation to warn that it's almost time to change the filter. When the indicator light turns red (one month later), it’s time to change the main filter.
The integrated particle sensor measures the concentration of fine particles (PM2.5) in your indoor air. The LED air quality indicator (AQI) display uses a three-color scale to represent current PM2.5 concentrations as good (blue), moderate (yellow), or polluted (red).
The lights on the LED touch-button indicate the selected fan speed setting. Touch once to set to Auto mode (all three LED lights lit). Press twice for the lowest fan speed (top right LED lit), three times for medium (bottom LED lit), four times for high (top left LED lit). Press a fifth time to turn the air purifier off (no LEDs lit).
You'll notice that after about 5 seconds, the LED lights on the touch-button dim down to 0% brightness. To change speed settings, you'll need to tap the button once to 'wake up' the air purifier and then cycle through settings.
