Blueair HEPASilent technology

Blueair HEPASilent Technology captures 99.97% of all airborne particles down to 0.1 micron in size. Its revolutionary combination of advanced filter media and an encapsulated particle-charging chamber ensures that your Blueair air purifier delivers results far superior than either mechanical or electrostatic technology alone.

IWLS - Whisper silent operation.

Wisper silent operation

When air passes through the filter easily, you get all the efficiency without all the noise. Even the outer housing is designed with silence in mind, replacing sound-sonant plastic with noise-muffling steel. Because breathing cleaner, healthier air while you rest only refreshes and revitalizes you if you are actually able to sleep.

IWLS - Low energy consumption.

Low energy consumption

Blueair was among the first to earn the Energy Star designation for air purifiers, a program developed in the United States and sponsored by the Evironmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy. We are proud to say that all Blueair models not only meet, but exceed Energy Star’s minimum efficiency guidelines.

Stylishly sleek. Clearly contemporary.

Our innovative Swedish design has been recognized by many, including some of the most prestigious in Scandinavia, Sweden’s ‘Design S’ award and the Excellent Swedish Design Award. Blueair is currently on display in the permanent collection at the National Museum of Sweden. See all awards

IWLS - Quality steel housing.

Quality steel housing

Built to last, Blueair stands the test of time using galvanized, powder-coated steel as opposed to less durable plastics. That means no off gassing from plastics either.

Independently tested and rated by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM), the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) is a way for consumers around the world to compare the rate at which air purifiers remove airborne pollutants. The higher the CADR, the faster the unit filters the air. CADR focuses primarily on the size and percentage of removed particles as well as the volume of air actually moving through the system. It also takes leakage into account.
