Independently tested and rated by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM), the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) is a way for consumers around the world to compare the rate at which air purifiers remove airborne pollutants. The higher the CADR, the faster the unit filters the air. CADR focuses primarily on the size and percentage of removed particles as well as the volume of air actually moving through the system. It also takes leakage into account.
