Why is the Wi-Fi light blinking on my Classic unit?

When the Wi-Fi light is blinking it means that the air purifier is ready for pairing with the Blueair app.
When the air purifier is paired, the Wi-Fi light becomes solid white. To deactivate the Wi-Fi light, press down both the filter and the Wi-Fi buttons simultaneously for 3-5 seconds.
