How does this filter differ from the Classic Series Particle filter?

Classic DualProtection filters feature a highly-porous, lightweight carbon mesh that is extremely efficient at removing both particle and gaseous (odors, exhaust, smoke odors, and chemicals) pollutants from the air. Whereas Classic Particle filters are highly efficient in the removal of particle pollutants like pollen, dust, mold, viruses, and fine smoke particles.

Many years
Have used it for many years. Works well. Wish you could design a reusable filter. I have a furnace filter which I can wash and use again.
Something similar would be nice.
