Lower speeds are extremely quiet but still powerful enough to provide a decent airflow. Exhausts out from each side in center of unit & pulls air in from below & near top — creates a circular air flow in the room.

I bought the dust magnet to help reduce the amount of fiber lint that I am exposed to with my hand weaving. It is too soon the judge how well it is working.
