This certified air purifier uses less energy than an average LED lightbulb (about 10 W) at 3W on lowest setting and up to 35W on high. Confidently run it for quality air 24/7. 

While the colorful fabric of the washable pre-filter looks great, it also extends the life of its primary filter by catching large particles. Its fabric can be vaccummed or put in a washing machine for easy cleaning.

An AQI, or air quality indicator, uses an LED to display colors for good, moderate, or poor based on the amount of fine, PM2.5, particles an integrated particle sensor finds in your space.

Interact with your air purifier and it brightens up for easy reading, then after approximately 7 seconds, the LED light will automatically return to a calming 10% level of brightness."

With many of the same features of the 411 Auto model (Auto mode, integrated particle sensor, LED air quality indicator),the 311 Auto differs in its slightly larger size, larger recommended room size (up to 388 ft²), and higher Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR).

Press and hold down the LED button for 10 seconds to reset the replacement filter indicator. ​​

To extend the Limited Warranty from one year to two (2) years, simply complete the product registration form in the 'Warranty' section of your customer account, within (60) days of purchase or register through the Blueair mobile app.​

Vacuum the exterior of the fabric pre-filter to remove dust as often as you'd like. When the pre-filter requires a deeper clean, it can be washed on a gentle, low-temperature cycle in the washing machine. Hang to dry.

The LED indicator will turn yellow after 5 months of operation to warn that it's almost time to change the filter. When the indicator light turns red (one month later), it’s time to change the main filter.

The integrated particle sensor measures the concentration of fine particles (PM2.5) in your indoor air. The LED air quality indicator (AQI) display uses a three-color scale to represent current PM2.5 concentrations as good (blue), moderate (yellow), or polluted (red).

The lights on the LED touch-button indicate the selected fan speed setting. Touch once to set to Auto mode (all three LED lights lit). Press twice for the lowest fan speed (top right LED lit), three times for medium (bottom LED lit), four times for high (top left LED lit). Press a fifth time to turn the air purifier off (no LEDs lit).

You'll notice that after about 5 seconds, the LED lights on the touch-button dim down to 0% brightness. To change speed settings, you'll need to tap the button once to 'wake up' the air purifier and then cycle through settings.
