We have our 311+Max working hard during our home confinement due to the Canadian wild fire smoke in our area. Our Blue Max has kept our indoor air at excellent while there is an advisory outside. We are very glad we purchased the air purifier, we love it!
I couldn't be happier with my Blueair Blue Pure 311i+ Max. The difference in my home's air quality was noticeable within the first day. The air feels cleaner, fresher, and there is far less dust.
I have Sjögren's syndrome and allergies, so clean air is especially important to me. This purifier runs quietly, is easy to use, and the automatic mode adjusts on its own without me having to think about it. I also appreciate the modern design—it blends into my home instead of looking like a bulky appliance.

When we first plugged in and got the purifier setup, all the PM ratings were 0. I was thinking something was wrong. It was like that for several weeks…until our area was affected by the northern MN/Canadian fires. Then in jumped up! I keep the fan on auto most of the time, but I did bump it up to 3 so that it could clear out the air faster. When on auto, I can hear when the fan kicks on at a little higher speed, but it didn’t go as high as 3 or 4, so I manually did that. It would be nice when the purifier detects a PM number above the “excellent” level, that auto kicks on high to get the air back down to excellent level quicker. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. I wish I had 2 - one for master bed and one for living area. Right now, I just move it to LR during the evening and to Master bed at night time. It’s light enough for me (51 y/o female) to easily carry around to the different rooms.
The customer service was wonderful and my Blue 311i Maxair purifier is already working perfectly and helping me to breathe!
That’s a great air purifier. I had the larger model for years and absolutely loved it, but I’m very pleased with the small, quiet Compact 511. I highly recommend it.
I’ve also owned a Shark air purifier, and I wouldn’t buy one again. In my experience, the quality of the Compact 511 is far better.
