What sets Blueair performance apart?

The Blue Pure Fan and Pure Fan Auto use a main Particle filter and a fabric pre-filter.

The main Particle filter captures large particles for purifier air circulation. The fabric pre-filter comes in different colors to fit your personal style and can be easily vacuumed and washed in the washing machine.

The Blue Pure Fan and Pure Fan Auto are intended for indoor use. The purifying fans can provide cooling airflow to a nursery, bedroom, office, or study area.

The Pure Fan Auto has a particle sensor which monitors the air quality in your room. Selecting the Auto Mode means that your Pure Fan Auto will automatically adjust when pollution levels creep up. The fan increases to the right speed based on the sensor readings and slows down when the air is clean again. This ensures that your air purifier is always running at the perfect speed needed to maintain the purity of the air in your home.

The Blue Pure Fan does not have the Auto Mode. Only the Pure Fan Auto has the Auto Mode.

The filter lifetime is calculated on the usage of the air purifier.

The filter indicator light turns red after 6 months of operation. In some of the Blue / JOY / Pure models, the filter light turns yellow after 5 months of use. This indicates that it will be time for your filter change in one month and it is time to order a new filter. After 1 more month of use, your filter indicator light will change from yellow to red indicating that it is time to change the filter. Turn on the unit and press and hold the main button for 10 seconds until the light disappears.

Detailed information is available in the User manual.

When selecting the Night Mode on your Pure Fan Auto, the fan will run the lowest fan speed and the LED lights will dim down.

We recommend using the Night Mode when you want to ensure a good air quality, with a minimum of disturbance.

No.

Though the Blueair technology uses electrostatic filtration to capture and remove particles from the indoor air, Blueair products should not be associated with dangerous indoor ozone. Dangerous indoor ozone can be formed by air cleaning techniques based solely on ionization technology, or by systems using ozone to clean the air. All  Blueair air purifiers conform to international and local ozone emission requirements in EU/CE, US/EPA & ARB, China/GB

Vacuum the exterior of the fabric pre-filter to remove dust as often as you'd like. When the pre-filter requires a deeper clean, it can be washed on a gentle, low temperature cycle in the washing machine according to the instructions on the pre-filter’s label.
