It’s normal for your purifier to sound louder at higher fan speeds, since the motor is working harder to move more air. If the noise feels excessive, try selecting a lower speed setting for quieter operation.
Another common cause of increased noise is reduced airflow from a clogged or dirty filter. When the filter is blocked, the fan has to work harder, which can create extra sound. To help keep your purifier running smoothly and quietly:
With routine filter care, you’ll maintain good airflow, reduce unnecessary noise, and get the best performance from your purifier.
The hatch icon on the display indicates that it’s time to replace the filter.
Vacuum it with a soft brush attachment or wash it according to the care label. When reinstalling after washing, make sure the logo tag is at the top and the USB-C charging port gap is properly aligned.
No. The main filter is not washable or reusable- only the fabric pre-filter can be washed.
Unplug the unit, remove the pre-filter, unwrap and replace the main filter, then reset the filter indicator by holding the Fan Speed button for 15 seconds (or via the Blueair app).
The filter should typically be replaced every 9–12 months, or whenever the filter replacement indicator is displayed on the device.
You can set the time and change the clock format (12-hour or 24-hour) directly in the Blueair App.
Yes. The nightlight can be adjusted in two ways:
This means the display lock is enabled. To disable the display lock, hold the ON button on the device interface until the lights blink or disable vie the Blueair App.
You can switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats directly in the Blueair App.
The buttons are designed to ensure that presses are intentional. Each button must be pressed and held for 1 second for the command to register. This design helps prevent accidental changes to settings when, for example, turning off the alarm.
Insert the power plug into the power input port on the bottom of the device. The power port is a circular port not to be confused with the USB-C charging port at the back of the device. The USB-C port is only for charging external devices, it cannot power the Mini Restful.
No, there is no snooze function for the alarm. The Alarm will turn itself off after 5 minutes of ringing unless it is turned off by pressing the alarm button.
To simulate a snooze, we recommend setting multiple alarms in the app, spaced 5-10 minutes apart. When the first alarm turns off, the next alarm will already be scheduled and will sound 10 minutes later, simulating a snooze function.
To create or delete an alarm, open the Blueair App:
Note: Alarms cannot be set or deleted directly from the device; this can only be done through the app.
If the onboarding process seems stuck at the Wi-Fi connection stage, you can force close the app and restart it. After restarting, you should find that your device has been successfully connected.
